Barrique de Beurse 2024
This red wine cuvée, full of character, combines the elegance and spiciness of Blaufränkisch (80%), sourced from the Deutschkreutz top vineyard "Altes Weingebirge", with the smooth richness of Merlot (10%) and the structural depth of Cabernet Sauvignon (10%).
Aged for 18 months in 90% new 500-liter French and Austrian oak barrels, the wine's complex aroma, elegant tannin structure, and power and depth were brought into perfect harmony. On the nose, ripe blackberries, heart cherries, and a hint of cassis are apparent, underpinned by spicy notes of black pepper, cedar wood, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is powerful yet precise and balanced, with a delicate acidity and wonderfully integrated oak. The long, dense finish, reminiscent of mocha, is characterized by mineral freshness and youthful energy – a wine with great potential and character.
We had the great honor of vinifying the Barrique de Beurse for the 2024 stock market year. The seven-member tasting team from the stock exchange created this special cuvée on Thursday, March 13, 2025, which was bottled at the end of June in a limited edition of 3400 bottles and ceremoniously handed over on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
The label, designed byKatharina Keresztesi(Kreatives K), not only perfectly depicts the stock market year but also the flavor profile of the wine.
Tip: Wine has excellent storage potential! Decanting is recommended.
